How to root Xolo Q800 X Edition

If you’re looking for an easy guide that will help you know how to root Xolo Q800 X then your search ends right here. Today, I’ll be talking about rooting your Xolo Q800 Android smartphone and trust me; this is the easiest method that you’ll find on internet. Before going ahead with the rooting process, let’s take a quick look at the specifications of this device.
The XOLO Q800X packs 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, whooping 8 megapixel primary camera, 1 megapixel secondary front facing camera, 4.5 inch display and 1 GB RAM. The device also comes up with Android 4.1 jelly bean. Not to mention the device has dual SIM GSM + GSM support and 4 GB internal storage.
Let’s move on to the actual guide and see how we can root XOLO Q800 X with ease.

Before You Begin

  • I won’t really begin rooting if I don’t have enough battery juice left in my device. So, make sure you’re having battery more than 75%.
  • You’ll need a USB cable to connect your XOLO Q800 X to the computer; so just keep it handy(don’t connect now).
  • How about enabling USB debugging? Go to the settings > developer options > enable USB debugging.
  • You should be aware of the fact that if you root Xolo Q800 X; you’ll remove the warranty.

Steps to Root Xolo Q800 X Edition

  • I’m sure you haven’t forgot about enabling USB debugging mode. If you haven’t enabled it you can still go into the settings > developer options to enable USB debugging. Don’t proceed without enabling USB debugging.
  • Download and install the drivers that I’ve given in downloads section above.
  • Connect your Xolo Q800 X to the computer using USB cable.
  • Extract the contents of the auto root tool on the desktop. I would recommend you to create a new folder named “root” and put this extracted content inside it.
  • Now, go into this extracted content (possibly “root” folder if you’ve created it).
  • Find the file named “Run.bat” and right-click on it.
  • Tap/Click on the option run as an administrator to open the file.
  • Press any key to continue and let it boot.
  • The phone will take some time for the initial boot.
  • Once it has completed the initial boot, simply restart it.
That’s it. We have successfully rooted Xolo Q800 and you can check that using an app called “root checker“. If you’ve rooted your Xolo Q800 successfully do let me know in the comments below. It will also help other users to understand that this process is working flawlessly.
