The Xolo Q3000 is a mid-range Android smartphone released back in December last year. Like most other Xolo devices, the Xolo Q3000 is mainly available only in the Indian market – so it isn’t surprising if you have not hear about this device. In case you do not know, the Xolo Q3000 comes with a full-HD 5.7 inch display powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. Thanks to the peeps from xda-developers, we can now root Xolo Q3000 easily using the Framaroot app. If you’re interested, then read on to find out how toroot Xolo Q3000.

Prerequisites before you begin rooting Xolo Q3000
- Download the Framaroot apk to your PC.
- Make sure you have at least 80% battery remaining on your device.
- Go to Settings > Security > Make sure you have checked on the Unknown Sources checkbox.
- Back up the Xolo Q3000 smartphone.
Follow the steps below on how to root Xolo Q3000
- Connect the Xolo Q3000 to your PC.
- Copy and paste the Framaroot apk (which you have downloaded earlier) from your PC over to the root of your device’s SD card.
- Launch the file explorer app ( if you don’t have one on your device, then you may want to download eitherAstro File Manager / ES File Explorer ) and install the Framaroot apk by tapping on its icon.
- Launch the Framaroot app on your device.
- Once you’d opened the app, select the Install Superuser option from the Select an action to execute after root section.
- Next up, select either Boromir / Faramir (only if Boromir doesn’t work) exploit from the Select an exploitsection.
- Once done, you should see a pop-up like the one above on your device.
- Reboot your handset.
- Congratulation! You’ve just rooted Xolo Q3000!
